People look to the prophets of every age to explain mankind’s existence and our role in time. This concert features settings of prophetic texts from the Bible and from great thinkers such as Martin Luther King, Jr., Langston Hughes and Ghandi. Repertoire includes: The Peaceable Kingdom – Randall Thompson; I Dream a World: Chorale – Dave Brubeck; and Leonardo dreams of his flying machine – Eric Whitacre.
