Romance could spark at our annual Valentine’s concerts! Renowned soprano Ida Nicolosi joins the FAC performing with the ensemble as well as a set of her favorite love songs. Highlights include love poems by Shakespeare, Shelley, Rossetti and e.e. cummings in addition to a selection of satirical and humorous poems about relationships. Repertoire includes: If music be the food of love – Jean Belmont; Sweet Love Remembered – Lane Johnson; Shall I Compare Thee – Nils Lindberg; and It was a lover and his lass – Ward Swingl.
Our Founders Hall concert on February 13 also includes the delectable bonus of complimentary chocolates from Andre’s Confiserie Suisse and sparkling wine from Rimann Liquors! Additionally, artist Jenny Hahn will display and sell prints of her evocative artwork.
