About FAC

Fine Arts Chorale is celebrating its 37th season, having been part of the Kansas City musical community since 1972, when it was founded in Independence as an outgrowth of the former RLDS Auditorium Chorale. While some of its 30 members are musicians by profession and education, others are gifted and dedicated amateurs who share a love of and commitment to great choral music. The Chorale will perform four concerts this season, as well as a special children's concert. Great choral literature of many centuries distinguishes the Chorale's repertoire, but in recent seasons the literature of the Renaissance and the 20th Century has been prominently featured. Committed to performing works rarely presented by other premiere arts groups, the Chorale continues to find and fill an important niche in the Kansas City musical community.
